Education at De Paul Academy is designed in accordance with the vision of St. Vincent de Paul (1581–1660) a French Catholic priest and a visionary whose life and mission were dedicated to the emancipation of society, the marginalized, and the underprivileged. He recognized education, social empowerment, and human development as essential means of transforming lives and building a more just and humane society. Through his pioneering initiatives, he encouraged the upliftment of the illiterate through access to education and promoted the active participation of people from all walks of life in the process of social transformation. Centuries later, his spirit continues to inspire generations through various educational activities for the upliftment of the society which impacted more than 50 institutions, 34925 students and 5 lakhs alumni in India alone.
